Drain Lining And Patching

Drains can degrade and become damaged over time, especially if they are made from pitch fibre. Usually, the first signs of this would be blockages. After clearing a blockage, we use CCTV to look at the pipework to check the condition of them. If we find the drain has collapsed, has a crack, full of scale or roots penetrating through, we recommend fixing this. Specialist equipment would be used to cut out the roots, descale the line and a High-Pressure Water Jetter used to clean the lines.

Depending on the damage, we can either apply a full lining or do a patch repair.

By applying a lining, it means we would not have to dig up the pipe to replace the damaged area. It is a more cost effective and efficient way of doing the repair with less disruption for the customer.
